Cherry Tart

Re: Calling all NEW Cherries!!!
Just wanted to say hi! And thanks to all who put on the NSD 2020 festivities this year! I haven't scrapbooked much in the last 6 years as I went from full time mom-at-home to full time mom-at-work in an office back in 2014.

In my past I was involved with Simple Stories when it began, on their design team and a Memory Works consultant forever ago. With all this sheltering in place I found myself longing to start crafting again... So, now Im busy in my scrap room, working on figuring out where I left off on the stories to tell! NSD really motivated me and I had a blast. So... thank you! And hello again!

Hi. I have been here about a week and am loving it. I was on another board years ago and when that closed I figured that was it. Wish I had known about this one. I actually just stumbled on it last week. I am having so much fun participating in the challenges and will stay long after NSD weekend.

I am a mom of two grown boys whom I adore. I am also married for 26 years and a kindergarten teacher for kids with special needs. Scrapbooking is my sanity saver. I also love photography and wrestling (not WWE), the high school/college kind.

My son graduated last year so I now have a lot more time on my hands. I am waaaaaaaaaaaay behind as I am working on their first year albums and scattered events here and there. Little by little. Thank you all for the very warm welcome, everyone is so nice here.

Our DD graduated last year too. I am working on her Concert/Marching Band albums currently.

Welcome to ACOT

My oldest son was in marching band, so I have all that to do. He graduated 6 years ago. Someday.....

What instrument did he play?  DD played Trumpet.  I have 3 or 4 albums going for Band, 6th-12th grades and competitions and some parades.  She marched at WDW in 2017 and Universal in 2015, the WDW one was fun!

Wow, that's awesome that they played there.  He was on the drumline. He plays the drums daily, sometimes multiple times a day. It's very loud here!! Good luck on all your albums :)
