I remember the first time I went to Hobby Lobby.  I was in high school; it was probably 1989-90, and we were on a trip to Oklahoma City with FHA, and our sponsor, the home-ec teacher HAD to go there--I actually think it was in Yukon, a suburb there.  I thought it was the largest store I had been in and was walking around like, "What-the-heck?" It was a waste of our time, lala...  Wish I'd only known then how awesome crafting could be . . . lol.

If you have a smartphone HL has an app. You'll always have coupons at your finger tips. Just saying.....

How exciting!  We have one that is about 45 min away as well but I can never get there because the best day for me to do any fun shopping is Sunday and they aren't open on Sundays so it makes it almost impossible for me to go. Kind of a bummer. Good luck should you decide to apply for a job...would be a fun place to work!

Yeah, on one hand I admire them for being closed on Sundays and totally respect that they give their employees the day to be with their family...on the other hand, it is SO frustrating because I really want to go!!  LOL!  It is good for my wallet, for sure!  Most nights they close at 8pm too...at least the one here. Must be a sign that I am just not supposed to go

Yeah, ours closes at 8pm too. Its good for my wallet too. But if I need something on a sunday, I'll just sit and wait and go Monday morning.

The closest Hobby Lobby to me is 2.5 hours away and I always seem to drive by on Sunday so I have to visit.  Someday...

oh, we haven't gone out to eat in a few months so I have not been over that far and the one closer to home opens the first weekend in March, so I may be saving $ a bit longer!

oh yes!  signing up now!!  and you are not enabling, but helping me to save!!  I am big on looking for sales when grocery shopping, cutting coupons and even have the Walmart Saving Catcher app!  poor dh cannot have bacon unless its on sale!
