I am very excited! Myself and two friends are off on a scrappy shop hop spanning 3 states this weekend. We will leave super early sat morning and be back sometime sunday night. The stores are running a summer promotion, you paid 10.00 for the shop hop pass and you get a 20% discount at each shop visited, and a 5x7 make n take. If you visit all 8, your pass goes in a drawing at the end shop for a big prize stash! Can't wait to hang out with my girlies and get our scrappy shopping on!

All in this haul was 150.00 I limited myself to buying the following;
1. Hard to find items
2. Clearance or otherwise unbeatable price (90% of what I got was clearance items!)
3. Staples that I need now and didn't want to pay shipping for (pens, gesso, etc)
Part of the shop hop was to get a 20% discount at each venue. Score!

Thanks for your patience with me updating this ladies, I have been out straight trying to catch up on the household things I let slide while away for the w/e and getting right back into the swing of things at work.

I'd like to get BF 98 & 99 done today!! And I want to do my Creation a day 7/21 before 7/23 comes, phew! Off to get focused on the task at hand then.

OHHH, almost forgot, the pic of the haul includes a prima bag on the far left, that is a PRIZE I picked up at the last shop on the hop, by "liking" all the shops on FB before leaving and signing up for any giveaways they did. It really paid off!! Quick little tip for the future shop hoppers among you!

#5 is a great store, she always seems to carry what I am looking for.  I recommend eating at Johnny Ads in Old Saybrook, right on Rt 1  not to far from the Westbrook LSS.  I get the kids size clam roll..YUM!

I didn't know they had an LSS in Mystic. 

I wanted to go to the LSS in Stafford Springs, but it was quite a drive from where my Mom lived.

We used to live in CT 15 years ago but I was just getting started with Creative Memories so I wouldn't know any of them even if they had been around.
It's good to see that there are still so many stores that are open for business!  Have fun!

oh lucky you girls.  Sounds like a FUN weekend.  And guess what?  In spite of the fact that I have lived in California my entire (long) life,  I have shopped in the Inspiration Station several times.  My eldest nephew on my DH's side lived in Stafford Springs a couple years when finishing his post doctoral project, and his mom and I visited a couple times.  We LOVED that store.

They are doing that thru Hershey, Harrisburg, and Lancaster in the fall.  It's called Buggies and ???  Can't remember.  LOL  But if you are interested anyone nearby, information is on EnchantedMemories.com in Hershey. . .
