I'm ok with regular posting from my phone & ipad but I can't really quote because of that red arrow box thing we have to click to type outside of the quoted text.  I'd love to see that go.

Try just going to the bottom of the message and clicking to get a cursor and then typing. It works that way for me with my android phone and chrome.

That doesn't work on my iPhone.  My reply just gets added to the text I quoted as if it was part of the quote.

The messages are still at the top of the page - just to the right of "my account". Maybe there's a reason to link the message board, gallery, etc. from the Get Social page? I'm trying to adjust...the site looks great!

Well at least the "Get Social" has a drop-down now.  But yeah, I don't really see any benefit yet.  And it's now an extra step if you want to find manufacturers, which is usually something I like to do quickly when posting layouts & looking up product numbers.

Yep, not a fan of the brand not being a drop down anymore.  That is my number one tool for searching on here...and having to actually have a window open with the brands = not fun.

So I'm still a newbie on here and I'm thankful that they didn't make the change before NSD or that would have been a disaster for me.  However, it is much harder to find product now--I really liked the catagories that they had before (color, theme, etc).  I realize that they still have the categories but my computer isn't allowing me to use them (or I haven't figured out how to use them properly because I keep getting an error message when I do try to use them).  I really liked the ability to search by color, manufacturer, theme, etc.  That's my two cents.

I'm not sure if anyone remembers, but there was another site that made a huge change and before we knew it they were going out of business.

The ACOT MB has changed many, many times since going on line in 2003 (as Stickers Galore), and with every change there were people who were not happy and disliked the changes.   There were times when I was in that group.   However, technology changes and needs change, it happens.  And as far as ACOT hearing complaints, I think you'd be hard pressed to find another on-line site that actually listens to its customers as much as ACOT.  The minute the new updates went up, the ACOT tech gurus immediately started listening to feedback and making accommodations. 

As for me, I know I'm in the minority, but I am not having any issues at all with the changes, in fact, I like them.  The drop downs and changes in banners seem more streamlined to me.  I don't find it aggravating to search a little more or make a few more clicks.

It's not the new board, but my old mind that makes it difficult for me to find how to do a new subject.  Had trouble before.  Can someone tell me where it is hidden.
