Hate to be whiny, but I hate change, especially just for the sake of change.  Took me awhile to find the mb and I still don't know where my points are.  Why?!!!!

You have to look at your account to see your points. And, on getting here, I added a bookmark to my bar up top.  Otherwise you have to hit 2 "buttons" to get to the MB every time!  So, if you're already in a thread and think you'll check birthdays, 2 steps.  Then if you read a PM, then want to get back to the MB--2 steps.  So the bookmark helps!

I'm holding out hope that what Clint says is true and it will end up being better for all of us in the long rung.  I think us "old timers" will probably struggle the most.  And by "old timers", I mean Cherries that have been around for awhile, not the age of us Cherries (although I fit both categories.....LOL!!!)

I usually don't get bugged about changes to message boards at all.  I take a day or two to adjust to the new whatever and go on about my life.  But I really can't stand that we can't switch from the message board to the gallery and vice versa without going through the "get social" window.

Supposedly it's going to be for the better, but so far I don't see anything more convenient about their changes.  I was able to figure out where everything was hidden, but unless I favorite the gallery and the message boards, it's not nearly as convenient and my points not being there is frustrating because that's even MORE clicking when they were always there and always updating when I went to the next product.  Now...in order to keep track if I walk away, I have to go to my account and refresh something.  I hope they are right and it's easier...but right now it seems like a giant step backward.  If they actually TOLD us what to expect beyond this that would make these changes make more sense, perhaps I'd be more open minded, but so far, I can't think of a single reason that gives US any added efficiency.

I'm not a happy camper with the change either. I already stuggle to get on here when I am at work because of all the firewalls. Now with all the extra clicking, it takes me so much longer to find what I am looking for. I adapt to change very well myself, but not this time.

I guess I'm in the minority here  . . .  or maybe even all by myself!  I'm not bothered at all by having to pick the MB or the Gallery from the new "Get Social" tab.  The extra step or two is just not an issue for me.  I can see how it would be for those like Mildred trying to access from work or those on other devices, but for me it doesn't really add any extra time to the ACOT experience.  The bubble thing?  I've never looked at it.  In fact, I've never been able to even see the whole number without highlighting it, and I've never clicked on it to use the dropdown.  Now, I do miss seeing how many points I have, but as with the "Get Social" tab, I don't really mind clicking on "My Account" to see them. 

The MB format has changed lots of times since I got here in 2003.  I'm sure there's a rhyme and reason for the updates.  No one wants to upset the apple cart unless they have to.

I don't like it either.   And I didn't even realize my points weren't showing.  I much prefer things to be simpler.  And to me, one step is easier than multiple steps to get where I want to go.

And I didn't even realize the gallery link was gone until I read all the posts in the thread.   If people have to search to find the message board and gallery they may choose not to visit.

I'm ok with regular posting from my phone & ipad but I can't really quote because of that red arrow box thing we have to click to type outside of the quoted text.  I'd love to see that go.

I guess my only complaint is that we didn't get a notification before the changes so we could be prepared,

We had new members join for NSD and some stated they were having difficulties figuring out the siite.  Now a few days later there are major changes. I hope the newbies didn't give up on us.

Even veteran members are having problems finding anything so imagine if you were a fairly new member.

I was doing a little freaking out because I couldn't find the gallery. I thought they'd done away with it!  . I finally just found it. It's so not convenient to have to go somewhere else to find it . I never would have guessed the Get Social tab would have the gallery tab hidden in it. I'm still waiting to see the benefits of the changes.
