I took some real liberties here, so I hope it fits. I was inspired by the teals and yellows, the chevrons and stripes. My first thought was to go pastel, but this layout called for deeper hues.

I was inspired by the great combination of colors, teal, gray (it's hard to tell but the background paper is gray) and yellow. I was also inspired to use the triangle patterned washi.

Here is the layout that I created using the sketch given.  I LOVED this color combination.  I don't use a lot of yellow so I love how this challenge pushed me to try a new color combination!  I also combined with the twist list challenge.
