diagnosed with having multiple(4) brain aneurysms. There are 2 large, 1 medium and 1 small, 3 are on the right side of my brain and 1 on the left side. On July 8th I had an Cerebral Arteriogram the 1 large and 1 medium are on the same major artery, the other large is on another major artery ,the test also shows they have wide necks(if I understood right they are the hardest to coil). I have to have 2 surgeries because the nersurgeon said it is not good to mess with 2 major arteries in one surgery. My first surgery is going to be on July 29th. My nerosurgeon is going to stent and coil the large and medium that are on the same artery during that surgery.
What sent me to the doc in the first place is my sister 2 years younger died from a burst aneurysm in Nov. 2013. She/We did not know she had one. So along with that the headache and the swishing noise that started in my left ear about 5 months ago my family doc sent me for tests.
My sister's last words were "Ow, I have a headache". The nerosurgeon seems to think I have had them for awhile. I have had symptoms and didn't know it. The aneurysms getting larger have caused some of the symptoms to get worse and it sucks. Sometimes it seems impossible to make a simple decision, it is so frustrating. I cry over the silliest things like I can't decide which color background to use for a layout, hell it takes me 4 or 5 days to finish one. It is taking me forever to type this because I have to keep fixing it.lol My eyes go blury off and on, I get weak, dizzy, shaky the list goes on.
I'm terrified. I need lots of prayers and good thoughts please.
Thank all of you so much for your prayers and caring thoughts. It means the world to me to have my cherry friends standing beside me. Love you Ladies...

Wow. So sorry for what you went through with your sister and for what you are now facing. Know that you are being prayed for!
Tammey - I'm so sorry -what a terrible and frightening thing to be going through. Sending lots of {{HUGS}} and prayers.
Tammey, I am so sorry and I know you are terrified. My grandmother also died of a brain aneurysm in her 40s. The only symptoms we know of are the migraines. Yes, everytime I get a splitting headache, I get so scared. At least they have found yours and have a plan to repair them. Thank God for that. You are most certainly in my prayers.

How frightening for you. I'm so sorry you are going through this. Good thoughts for you!
OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
Tammen, I have said a prayer for you for strength and for your surgeon, too. Know all of us will be with you during the day of your surgery.
