I got some sprinkles - it was fun playing the games but had to stop and scrap a little. Almost finished one page and had to make my own enamel dots from nail polish. Hoping they dry overnight so I can finish my layout.
I am so close to moving up in the Cherry ranks, I need to make a few more posts!

I didn't~it was all my fault, I didn't read all of the rules and didn't understand how to participate! I'm going to do a challenge and as I understand it, I have until next Saturday to post my pages?

I've been meaning to try the nail polish dots trick! I saw a video once where the girl used splattered bright nail polish colors on a black cardstock background - it was so cool. I am so boring that all mine are just variations of pale pink. My daughter though is the one with the teals and yellow and mint green polish. I asked her I could borrow some to try the splatter myself and she refused saying it was abuse of beauty products. I think I am just going to wait till she's asleep and help myself....

Absolutely right Karen - you have all week for the main challenges so no worries. LOTS of us didn't get a lot of projects done. And for a newbie, it can be a little overwhelming. I think next year I am going to write a "How To" post since the hardest part is figuring out how to post to the gallery (not hard) and then how you copy that image (or any image) into the post itself (easier than some forum sites but still not straightforward).
Give us a shout if you need any help. And hopefully we'll see you in all our regular monthly challenges. We're an addictive bunch!

Funny, I was so caught up in finishing my project and games, and kids here, I never really got to play and just relax!!! That will come later I am sure! Was a fun day!

I can totally relate to that! I spent all week and earlier today making sure I was all set and then *poof* it was over. Then it was time to award points... for an hour or more. I did play one game today, but I had enough fun to make up for missing the relaxing and chatting, along with most of the games. You did great! I tried some reddish nail polish but the dots are still kinda soft this morning??? May try to get them off the parchment paper and adhered to the layout with glue dots. Thanks!

Welcome to ACOT ! Yesterday was a bit crazy on the boards, usually it is much calmer. I can imagine being new that it was a tad difficult to figure everything out. Hope you stick around. The ladies here host many different challenges every month & you earn ACOT points for every submission, every post and even qualify to win gift certificates if you do the challenges.
