Hope the chicken wasn't too dry! My mom always said it was just a little brown, on all her cooking--biscuits, hamburger patties, sausage patties, chicken . . .

And it was just the juice spritzing on the oven. It was one big-a**ed breast, let me tell you - I only ate half of it, and it was great!!

Yep, it feels good to be able to get on here again, and I missed my cherry friends!!!

glad your chicken was not lost!

We had a saying in our house for my dad - "when it's smoking, it cooking. When it's black, it's done!" Mom even made this into a cross stitched picture lol. dad was a military chef and then chef/kitchen supervisor at the prison, so cooking experience for 40+ years, and yet couldn't cook anything at home without over seasoning it (to the point the dogs wouldn't even eat it) or setting the smoke alarm off!! :)

Its so versatile! Chicken salad. Chicken and rice casserole. Chicken soup. Chicken enchiladas. Chicken tacos. I could go on and on!

Heehee! I think I'm famous for making people hungry. Last year I made everyone crave mexican food with the nachos vs burritos; and yesterday, I posted that DH makes me strawberry waffles for me on crop mornings. LOL...oopsie!
