Happy Winter Solstice (to those in the northern hemisphere)
Today is the shortest day of the year and for those sun loving souls on here, from tomorrow on the daylight will get a little longer each day (about 2 minutes a day) until the summer solstice in June.

It already feels like spring here and tomorrow almost like summer. It is going up to about 70 degrees in suburban Philly! That is insane weather for a few days before Christmas.

Re: Happy Winter Solstice (to those in the northern hemisphe
I'm ready for longer afternoons, but NOT the 100+ degree temperatures! I'm not a huge fan of summer, tho at least at night about 7pm you can still go out to the park or sit by the lake..... 7pm in winter, not so much. But it hasn't been too cold here yet.

But yes, happy solstice!

I heard you had gorgeous weather down there today! A good friend of mine said he took his Harley out for a spin today! We're in the middle of a freaking ice storm and I'm not happy about it! :graymad:
