Spellbinders Dies
Does anyone use Spellbinders dies here and want to post what you've done with them? I've never bought them or used them, but goodness, these are cute...

http://www.acherryontop.com/shop/search ... nders?v=s6

Would like to see what you've done with them. I did a Google search and will hit their blog, but want to see y'all stuff, too, if you have any!

Thx,

I love spellbinders dies. The cut/emboss is really cool. I'll try to post some layouts I've used them on when I get home from work.

Re: Spellbinders Dies
I used some Spellbinders Nestabilites and Sizzix Sizzlits dies on this page. It is the left side of a two pager. I linked it in case you want to know what I used... I listed them in the description.

Also used some on this two pager...

Awesome, thanks, Jill!

Barb!! That love love. Love to see stuff in action before I order it, if it's something really new to me. I have a Cuttlebug, so that's good news they work in there. I just love those ornament shapes and can see many possibilities with them. Thank you for sharing your awesome work, girlie!! I appreciate it!

Wow - some beautiful stuff.

I never owned one - long story but a girl that was a rep for them my teaching gang knew, and she was really rude. So I was soured on her, not the product. But these are beautiful examples!

I use them in my cuttlebug too and they work like a charm!! I'll look for some layouts now and try to get them posted soon.

Re: Spellbinders Dies
Here's mine using the leaf set (sorry I can't remember the name of the set) I embossed and inked or chalked over the embossing, it's been a while since I did this one.
The leaf jumble at the top is not spellbinders, it's a wishblade cutting file

I love using the Nestabilities! I don't have a Spellbinders machine, but I use them in my Cuttlebug. I had to get a couple of adapters to make them work. I mostly use them when making cards.

Oh, dear. Where do I find these adapters?

THANKS!

Re: Spellbinders Dies
Melissa, most of the companies that sell the machine offer the adapters for the other dies. I know Sizzix does for their Big Shot.

I love spellbinders! There easy to use and have a lot of shapes and options. I especially love Nestabilities.
I've used Nestabilities for all the "windows" on my house.

I had trouble at first, too. Here's some suggestions.

First post your project in the Gallery. I then right-click on the image and choose "Copy Image URL" You should have a 2nd window/tab open with the thread you want to post/reply in - click on the Insert Image icon (in the middle, looks like a picture frame) and Paste, then hit Enter. That's it! Now if you want to *link* the post to your Gallery page (recommended - it makes it much easier for people reading the thread to leave you Gallery love!), go to your Gallery page and copy the address in the browser bar. Then in your post, click on the image in the thread so that it's highlighted, click the Link icon (the chain 2 left of Insert Image), past the address, and Enter. Done!

Melissa, when you buy a set of Netabilities, they tell you in the instructions what adapters to use with the various machines. I had to wait until I ordered my adapters, but it was worth it.
