My prayers are with your friend and you and all who love her. I hope this helps: my dh had a massive stroke on April 4. He was in the hospital for a month and is now in outpatient rehabilitation. His speech is much better, and he can now walk without his walker short distances. He has improved every day. Hugs to you, sweet lady!

I am very sorry to hear about your dh. Prayers to you and him. I know how hard it is to manage emotionally and physically. There is so much to do plus the worry about him. God bless you both.
