Yummy, what time will it be ready? I'm making bbq chicken, carrot cake, green beans, other family members are bringing ham, boston butt, pies, mac & cheese. Not sure what else.

Sounds wonderful, Clint! We're keeping it simple this year. Family gathering tomorrow for egg dying, a hunt and we'll be having ham, turkey on rolls, cake, deviled eggs and broccoli salad.

BTW, I love brussel sprouts and am wondering how you keep a piece of bacon around it and how to cook it.

I use tooth picks that have been soaked in water over night, that way they don't burn in the oven. Once they have been cooked, the bacon really stays on by itself, have to make the bacon a little crispy. Hope that helps.

A friend posted that cake on f/b and I showed to my daughter since she loves to bake. It was a BIG HIT with the kiddos and of course they all had to have a bunny with their piece which was fine with me. I like the M's but not those peeps...White cake, buttercream frosting. Yes, it was good. We cut it today since we had a party to decorate eggs this afternoon.

I have not heard that they are planning that. I do know that they are going to Gulf Breeze to the Cross' house for festivities. They invited me, but I declined because I do not want to leave Jack.

I made deviled eggs to take to two family gatherings. Yesterday we had ham and meat loaf, masked potatoes, corn, green beans, three types of salads, desserts galore. Oh yes, an my deviled eggs. I am still stuffed.

You sound like quite a cook Clint. All sounds great except for the brussel sprouts.

Going to my brothers today and have no clue what is on the menu except for my deviled eggs. Most likely something smoked as my brother like smoked meats. Not my favorite, but I will enjoy everything else.
