Smiles: looks like we might be booking our cruise to see our pal Clare (of course we'll be seeing NZ and AUS too) tomorrow. Got a deal that is going to be hard to pass up. It was a put the top down on my car and go cruising kind of day here in Paradise.
Frowns: unfortunately I did a LOT of cruising. I went to the wrong VA hospital to sit with sis while her honey was having some heart test run. Two hours later, I got to the right one and, he has to stay over night. This VA hospital found my sister beautiful accommodations right on the grounds of the hospital and she can visit her honey now w/o having to take a cab .
Smiles: I now know parts of Tampa that people who have lived here for years have probably never seen.
Frowns: because of the proliferation of "snow birds" (whom we love because they bring money into our economy) it took me and hour more to get home.

Smiles: I got everything done that I needed to get done today at work. Managed to also fit in time to make some posters for a fundraiser and get them mailed to another person to print and distribute around town. Found an old employer/friend on the internet and sent her an email. I haven't corresponded with her in about 20 years so I'm hoping I hear back from her. Looking forward to working on a couple of pages tonight.
Frowns: It's very windy and our driveway is still very icy. It's a drag because our driveway slopes so it's very easy to slide down it.

smiles: we cleaned our carpets for the first time in 3 years (we live in an apartment) and they look wonderful.
frowns: had internet connection issues this am and couldn't work for over 4 hours...you would think that would be a smile but between being on the phone with the 'help' desk and trying to fix it myself and my boss calling me constantly it was anything but a smile. This on the back of 2 HUGE QA errors that I got yesterday (and fully deserve). Not panning out to be a good work week.

Smiles: It warmed up to 81 degrees, so I took advantage of the warm weather to bathe my two black labs. Jeffrey got his bath last night. Got all my work done. Have nothing pending. Got a layout done. Hubby came home a little bit early so after dinner we are going to just chill and watch tv.

Smiles~ Dishes washed, one load of laundry done, salad washed and put away, Salsa all made, and dinner just about ready. I have a two day crop on Fri and Sat to get me all ready for the Team Cupid crop on Sunday!!! Nice distraction from my other woes!!
Frowns~ My son didn't finish his Morning work in class for the second day in a row. I do not like taking priviliges away, but what has to be done has to be done.

Smiles: I am having an incredibly great start to my new year. I am working out every single morning, eating healthier, and enjoying my job more than ever.
Frowns: I miss all of you terribly. I miss coming over and checking the CT boards, planning reveals, etc. But I just needed a break I think from the computer in general. I am on it today for the first time in 3 days. I have FB on my phone so I never get on the computer.

Frowns: the person was hoping I was a scrapbook store as she is already a scrapper, but she said she had people who had asked her to do books for them and she didn't want to and she asked if she could give them my number, so hopefully something will come out of it.

Smiles: I got to spend time with my grandkids. My dh did his exercises! That is a major event. Also, I got him to walk during commercials around the center of our house--livingroom to dining room, to kitchen, to foyer and back to livingroom. Over and over again. Anything to get him moving.
Frowns: My grandkids didn't like the art lesson today. And it was so cute, too. Start my work week tonight.

Smiles: On my way to art class, I was listening to the radio. The DJ came on and asked, "A recent survey found that people said this was the main stress reliever. What is it?" I thought about it for awhile, then called in with the wrong answer. So, I thought some more and called in again. Got it right! And won a $25 GC to a local florist! I love flowers so much. Kinda made my day. Yay, me.
