Or anytime! I love music and listen to many different types. You will find anything from the soundtrack from Grease to Adelle on my I-pod. Right now I am loving Train,Adelle and One republic.
I turn on Pandora and have several "my" stations to choose from. I am very versatile where music is concerned. From jazz, to country, to R&B, I like all but opera and rap. So, depending on my mood, that decides which channel is on

I'm a mood person too when it comes to music. Most of my music listening is done in the car though. At home, the TV is on ususally. At night time, I simply enjoy the quiet while I scrap.

My music taste is pretty eclectic....love most everything... born on the 60s with 5 older sisters that were always singing - I heard it all. I have some Jackson 5, Adele, B-52s, but I found this guy David Garrett (check him out) that plays amazing violin to all kinds of songs...with a rock spin on many of them..Beethoven's 5th, Led Zepplin...really cool! BTW if you listen to your iPhone (or through your computer) you should check this out...at Brookstone. You would be amazed at the sound you get from this little thing for the price and you can throw it in your purse and take it with you anywhere- improves the quality 10 fold! They are on sale now for $19.99. I put it next to my mouse to show scale.

This is exactly what I do, listening to country right now.oceanbreezes423 wrote:I turn on Pandora and have several "my" stations to choose from. I am very versatile where music is concerned. I'm another Pandora fan, it's on almost all the time at our house. I like to set it to a channel based on an artist. For the past week it's been Keane and Matt Nathason channel. Kind of fits the gray weather here in the Northwest right now.
So I am definitely in the minority here, but I have a TV in my scrappy room and keep it on HGTV, TLC, CNN, etc.!

I do not care for opera or rap either. Hip Hop is very iffy. I like some of it, but basically I enjoy most music. And when I am tired, I love to watch ballet. Don't know why.oceanbreezes423 wrote:I turn on Pandora and have several "my" stations to choose from. I am very versatile where music is concerned. My iTunes favorite songs playlist... Maroon 5, Anna Nalick, Duffy, David Cook, Haley Reinhart, Michelle Branch, Rob Thomas, Bonnie McKee, Daughtry, Pink, Colbie Caillat, Liz Phair, Brooke White, Jewel, Corinne Bailey Rae, KT Tunstall, among others. And a lot of 70s and 80s music, including my very all time favorite... Elton John.
Most of my scrapping is done at work, with the TV on. But since it is the middle of the night, there is not much on the TV.

Classical, relaxing stuff- adagios, opera (I know, I know- everyone thinks that is terrible but there are some beautiful opera songs)-- nothing jazzy ever.
I like the TV going rather than music for some reason... Usually put in a fav DVD if there is not a decent movie on... probaby why I don't get much scrapping done

Janet,
I love all of those, plus my fave...80's music. It has a good beat and a light-hearted feel. Can't beat it for inspiring me. LOL! My favorite 80's bands are Air Supply, REO Speedwagon, Billy Joel, Elton John, and Madonna, to name a few.

I watch movies sometimes too but I find it hard to concentrate on the movie and scrap at the same time.beachlover wrote:I like the TV going rather than music for some reason... Usually put in a fav DVD if there is not a decent movie on... probaby why I don't get much scrapping done
I'm a huge country fam - from the older traditional country to the new stuff. But I also like Pop, adult contemporary, some rap, some classical, some hip hop. I really depends on my mood and who is scrapping with me.
