My dress arrived today...and it's even prettier than on the website. The boob part fits fine, but it's really tight just under my ribcage. I am going to go to David's Bridal and see if I can get some kind of gut sucker that will work. It's very flowy....very pretty. I did let Bob see it....I had intentions of having it hemmed to tea length but he said he really liked it longer and flowy. So...gotta see what kind of shoes I can find so I don't trip over the danged thing! lol


My cherry necklace (and matching earrings) also came today...and they are very pretty as well! Red is definitely the accent color....even for our tiny little wedding ceremony it will be fun to have bright colors. I'm getting really excited!

This one is the full length...looks tea length but it is full length. Actually a tad long, but very flowy. I just need to find some heels I can wear! lol





A little closer look at the dress.... forgive the hook in the middle - it's hanging on the bathroom door!





Closeup of the bodice...it lays flat better on, but I did the best I could with one hand on the dress and one hand on the camera!

And the back of the dress. I love how the layers come together.





I don't have a picture of the last piece, but it actually came with a little shawl, a rectangle of fabric that is the same as the outer layer of the dress. Not warmth by any means, but a little dressy addition.

And I don't have pictures yet, but will try to get some of the dress this evening. I wouldn't let Bob see it long enough to take pics, and I don't have anyone else to take pictures of me in it, but I will get some of the dress and at least post those, hopefully later this evening!

What about your kids? Could they take some pictures? My grandsons, ages 7 and 5, love taking pics. And do a pretty good job of it, too.
