After getting the paper on, the the pics. Is it a good idea to seal the page? If so, w/ what? I'm stuck. I heard of decoupage....but not sure what to do

I have done a couple chipboard albums and I didn't seal them. They seem to be holding up well.

I have not sealed. But if you want to use some decoupage product - try Mod Podge. You can find it in the storeor at Michael's or JoAnn's.

I've never sealed any of my albums either.

If I have a lot of things on the cover, I'll seal that. I used Golden Medium to seal. It dries lots faster than most of the others.

I have a chipboard album painted with acrylic paints and sometimes they get tacky. I also have some projects with modpodge that are tacky, so I would suggest you try out on a scrap paper and observe before applying on the mod podge in your album. Plaid (also under modpodge line) also has mod podge sealer to prevent tackiness. Some friends use claudine helmuth multi medium matte to seal their projects.

I use 2-3 coats of Mod Podge. After this is dry I spray with Krylon Triple-Thick Crystal Clear. I think sealing is a good idea if you are planning on it being handled alot. However, Mod Podge tends to wrinkle the paper (as it gets wet, it stretches), unless you covered the entire back of the paper/pix with liquid glue (which you can also use Mod Podge for). I wouldn't use it if you stuck your papers down with tape runner or something similar.

I use the Modge Podge to adhere the paper to the chipboard.
I am thinking of sealing the first and last page.

I have found Mod Podge retains some tack that can collect dust, stick to other pages, etc. That is why I use the Krylon Triple-Thick Crystal Clear over it. It provides a hard finish. You can find it with the spray paints in most stores like Wal-Mart, and Hobby Lobby, etc.
