Do you have a favorite Fall tradition? Maybe it is generations old or it could be something you just started last year and intent to repeat again. Have you scrapped about it? I'd love for you to share with us.

Since I was young, gee for as long as I can honestly remember, my family has set aside one Saturday in October to trek over to Placerville California to spend a day at Apple Hill. It is the one thing that really kicks off the Autumn season for my family... stocking up on pies, butters, syrups, cider, pumpkins, fresh apples for baking and too many delicious baked goods. and I love to create layouts about it every year!

baking... a favorite fall tradition...pumpkin carving and cookie decorating.. carmel apple making...

I always revamp our traditions as kids get older and grandkids add up..

Now a new tradition is this: I buy a pumpkin for all the grandkids... they come over and carve a pumpkin with the help of Papa Chip, my hubby and the older kids...

then they carmelize an apple and put all kinds of crazy hallween candy on it..

i have sugar cookies baked in shapes for halloween and they decorate... We have it set up in stations... PUMPKIN, cookie, then apple..
afterwards we play tag outside or hide n seek and they pretend to be scared of my decorations..

and we have a good time..

Family Trick or Treating is a tradition with us, aslo the pumpkin patch is another. We have not made it to the pumpkin patch this year though. I do scrap about trick or treating every year!

I love baking and making crafts. We also love going to the fall festvals every year. My mom, sister and I used to go to the apple orchard and pick apples till my mom got to sick to go .

Oh! For me, every year, right around my birthday, my parents, me and my sister have made it a tradition to go the zoo. We all love animals, and it gives us a day to spend together. We all love it!
