Thought I'd drop in and give you an update on Ruger. He almost has us trained so things are going well. This morning, I decided to leave him out of the kennel while I took a shower because.... he has been such a good boy.... Here is what I found:



I actually grabbed the camera before yelling at him...took this and then yelled to get this:



As I approached... I got this:


Like I said, he almost has us trained... Oh the papers he has chewed, ripped and destroyed... All print outs on how to train your dog... How funny is that! Below is him after his Vet visit. Since his last visit at 8 weeks, he has grown 2 inches and put on 4 lbs to come in at 19lb at 12 weeks.

It looks like he is saying "sorry". How could you not forgive a face like that?

He is such a cutie! Funny how he ripped up the papers "How to train your dog". Apparently he didn't like what the papers had to say.

Yep! He's a puppy! My dd and her dh have a 2-year-old Boxer and she attacked my Pom last night. That is the fourth really scary attack so far. She is so depressed--has to find a new home for her before the baby is born. Lucy, the Boxer, can be so precious and sweet and fun. We are all sad today, esp my pregnant dd. My pom had 2 minor cuts--nose and ear. Y'all, please pray for my dd!


Advice: I read more last night--be sure to walk him every day and play, jump, etc.,--what they did not do--so sad.

The last time we took our dog anywhere first he went to the vet for check up and then took him to get his bath. Now everytime we try and get him to just come to the van he bolts the other way I guess he still remembers the last time.

that is way too cute. My little schnauzer has a thing for paper. Doesn't chew anything else, but leave out anything white and forget it.

Thanks for the advice. I will definitely take it. How sad of a story. I had to put down my dobie lab when my DD was one. The dog snapped at her when she was trying to get up on my lap in DD's face. Thankfully, only a minor cut happened. It makes you wonder what they are thinking when they are usually sooo good. My thoughts are with your DD...
