DH just asked me what he should get me for the holidays. I really dont know what to tell him. We don't have a lot of money right now so it won't be anything major. I am leaning towards just telling him I want an ACOT GC, but GCs are so boring as gifts even if that is what I REALLY want.

Well, of course I would love more scrapping stuff! LOL BUt I think the major thing I am going to ask for is a quilting hoop. I want this special one so I can do a certain method of quilting....then I can quilt the top that has been sitting her for two years!

I've been making a list for Christmas as I see new things come out!

I've just added one of the new Cricut Lite Lacy Labels cartridges to my list, a new photoshop book, bunch of actions and presets that I'd like to get for Lightroom and Photoshop (so a gift certificate isn't a bad thing), a new Crock Pot that has a timer to shut off. That is what I have so far!

Looking at catalogs and online is a dangerous hobby for me. I try to avoid it whenever possible so that the list doesn't keep growing!

Christmas, I love Christmas. I wish it was Christmas year round. Not for the gifts, but for the way people are, they seem more friendly. I love the cold weather, the decorations, the baking, the gathering of family. Seeing the excitement of my grandbabies. as for what I want for Christmas, something we can't afford......a Canon digi camera. The one I really want costs about $1,200!

I want what I ask for every year- my house cleaned (like I would clean it, not like the kids & DH clean it) without me having to be the one to clean it. I don't think DH & I will be exchanging big gifts this year- same thing with the money and the fact that I really don't need more stuff, so we may just each get some new music from itunes. I am also going to tell my parents (who we rent our house from) to not worry about a present for us because our kitchen badly needs re-doing (water heater flooded it last year & now we are seeing the results of it- floor is squishy in patches, etc), so hopefully, that will happen this upcoming year.

we don't have alot this year either since we just bought a house!!!! but I would LOVE to have a new Cricut cartridge...or a manicure/pedicure GC.....or a new lens for my camera {which is about $300-$400, so I probably won't get this}....I woudl really like a chair for my scrapbook room!!! {right now I share a chair from the kitchen!}....

I think gc is great, or you could fill your wishlist and tell him anything from there would be nice. Then it is a great surprise. I am asking for a gc and blocking wires for knitting. Then you can use the gc for when you really need it too.

Oddly I know there is something else on it but I just can't think of it.

I only get gifts from dh and he tends to go opposite of the list.

I think the main things I would like are an ACOT GC, some more Cricut mats and maybe one or two new Cricut cartridges. I haven't gotten a new cartridge in a LONG time!

Ask him to plan a day for the two of you. He can write out the gift certificate that will tell you the plans for the day:

Breakfast out

A ride to a place you'd like to see

A picnic lunch there.

Browsing someplace

Whatever it is you both would enjoy.

on the scrappy side, I'd love my room to get done and to have some time!

In lieu of that, I honestly don't know. Might need a new scanner - mine's been off since we got the laptop. Darn Vista.
