I Am Really Trying This Digi Thingy

I have been working for HOURS trying to complete the Sept digi-doable template. I finally had it all except title and journaling. How do I remove the owner's type??? I tried and the faded type is still there. Thanks in advance for any help!

not sure which program you are using, but personally I just right click the layer and delete.

Bottom right hand side there is this lil mini window that is the layer pallet that you clip everything too. Well just right click and delete the title/journaling layer and add select the type tool, and type in the same spot. That's what I do.

Also, if you have selected the "layer", in this case the typing that is the journaling, you can just hit delete on your key board, and POOF it's gone.
