um I don't get blogs, never had one.. don't read them now... and I really don't get facebook either.. though I have that.. mainly just to keep in touch with friends back home. I just don't get the whole.. "look at me! look what I did today everyone... though I don't really know any of you very well" thing.. then there's the "oh crap I've run out of things to say" blog that goes something like.. "I got up this morning brushed my teeth.. petted the cat for a while till it scratched me and ran away.. then I got up to cook eggs.. stubbed my toe.." later that day.. "update to say thanks! to all the people asking about my toe, it hurt wicked bad! but I think it'll be ok.. thank you ALL sooooo much for caring about me!!! I love you ALL!!1!!!"

I don't have a blog. I am such a private person and wouldn't go into detail about my private life, and I really would have nothing exciting to blog about. I mean really, who would care to read about my daily antics while watching my granddaughter all day and me desperately trying to find some time to fit some scrapping in lol. Besides, I don't have the time as it is to do what I want to do, I don't need to just add on something else. Any free time I get I like to spend scrapping and here on the boards and in the gallery (and the store too lol).

As for you Leslie, your blog would be very entertaining. You are a natural at cracking people up and your blog would be fun to read. I vote for I am My Favorite Scrapbooker.

I like I am MY Favorite Scrapbooker....adn I have blogger and I really like it...I started mine so people could keep up with me in Kuwait and then I came home and everyone wanted to know how come I wasn't updating!!! I never even had the ambition to have followers, but it's nice when at least a couple people leave comments. I mainly do/did Idol recaps on mine but last year the season wasn't as exciting and I only knew of 1 person reading, so I quit. (Mine's named "PezKat's Becoming Less Empty Blog.") I thought about adding scrapping stuff but then got involved here & would only have a couple other people interested in seeing my pages, & one of those I see in person often enough, so I didn't do that either.

Blogspot is easy for posting and there are tons of predesigned templates (I'm sure there are lots of pink frilly ones w/Hello Kitty!). But it's not as user-friendly for photos just on its own, IMO. I've seen apps that scroll pages like a Gallery, so if you could add something like that then you'd be fine, but as I said I never put LO's on mine so I really don't know what's available for that. But if you just wanted to post one photo now & then & write stuff, I'd def. recommend Blogspot.

Your wit will certainly ensure a healthy number of followers; I don't have any connection with anything that requires (or makes me feel like it requires) daily updates -- there is absolutely no way I could ever keep up.


so give it a whirl - what's there to lose? and in my ignorant bliss of all things blog other than the occasional one I stumble upon, I don't even have a good recommendation for you as to which might be best.
