What do you love and respect...?
Many of you know DH and I have had some challenges lately. Anyway, I've been reading a book about how women need their husbands to love them, but what men really need, more than love (they know we do), is respect.SO, what do you LOVE and RESPECT about your husband (or SO)?For me - That my husband will give up a day off to work, or even work on his birthday when it falls on a weekend!

I love the my boyfriend loves me and likes me the size that I am and doesn't really want me to lose weight, but is my biggest supporter in Weight Watchers because he knows I will be happier if I lose weight.

I love my husband because he tells me how hard I work around the house and with the kids and how much he appreciates itI respect him because he works so very hard to give us our beautiful house and always finds the time to make sure I have time to do what I want to do.

I know husbands can be real jerks sometimes!  or most of the time! so let me dig deep on this one -I Love how my husband makes me a pot of coffee on most mornings and I respect all the hard work he does outside - such as plowing all the snow in the winter and maintaining the yard in the summer and feeding the deer and birds every day even though he has arthritis and is in pain on most days.

Yesterday I was supposed to drive to another state to pick up our son from a camp (long story) My DH drives him there, I pick him up.I was sick and DH took off work during a really tough time to go get him knowing that he would have to work this weekend to make up the time. While I know ds is both our responsibility, there are times when one or the other of us has to go the extra mile and this week DH did.Plus, I've said it before, I'm not an easy person to love and neither one of us are mushy lovey kind of people. I just appreciate that fact that after 20 years of my personality he's still in love with me. That says a lot about his strength and character. A LOT! LOL!

I love and respect the fact that my hubby almost NEVER loses his temper, and has never used profanity - around me or anyone that I know of.  We've been married for 21 years this August, and knew each other 7 years before that.  He has very strong self-control in all things.I wish I was more like him!

I love and respect Adam for being such a hard worker, for always putting Alex and I first, above anything else! He's always there with a hug or kind words when I need him. He's just all around a wonderful, caring, loving man.

One of the things I most love about my husband is that he is a WONDERFUL Daddy and still is even though our baby is now 19!  He gave our daughters the gift that many dream about and few experience....a real Dad! One of the things that I respect about my husband is his integrity!  He always brings out the good in people around him, no matter the situation.  He is my calm in the storm!

My husband wants to give me the world, is the number one supporter of my creativity, wants to be with me ALL the time (we are obnoxious), and tells me I am beautiful and that he loves me about a zillion times a day.AND he cleans the litter box sometimes.

I respect his dedication to our family and wanting the best for all of us......i love my dh because he always tells me he loves me, at home, when we are out and eery conversation we have on the phone - he never hangs up without telling me he loves me!We have been married almost 17 years - and he still writes me poems!  Now, they may not be the cleaniest poems (), but they are very original!
