Heard that there is a major solar flare hitting the Earth tonight. It may cause a beautiful aurora of green and red lights in the northern sky tonight and tomorrow night. Hope the skies are clear wherever you are tonight!

Just saw this. I was lying out on the porch in the early morning (about 1:30), looking at the stars, but didn't see anything other than normal...

I actually stayed up late to try and see them ( dumb since I had to get up at 4:30 this morning ) but no luck with all the lights around us. Couldn't even see any stars, sort of sad.
