I'm new here, so thought I should introduce myself a little
I stumbled across this site the other day and I am SOOOO glad I found it, in just a few days I have found myself becoming totally addicted! It seems like such a great, friendly place to be.I work in a library - books are one of my loves, so it seems a pretty perfect job! Although I wish I didn't have to work sometimes - it would give me so much more time for scrapping! I used to be a totally paper scrapper, but now I do a bit of that and a bit of digital scrapbooking. I just love it - sometimes the hardest thing is to chose what supplies I want to use though (they look so pretty, I sometimes hate to cut them or alter them - but the end result usually seems worth it!)
I live in the south of NZ - it's pretty cold here at the moment, at midday today, it's still -4C outside... That may not seem cold to some of you in the northern hemisphere, but for us, it's crazy cold for the middle of the day! Lol! So perfect time to stay inside, light the fire and do some scrapping!
I have a wonderful partner, who is so supportive of the scrapbooking/collecting of scrapbooking supplies - I think he doesn't mind it cos it means I'm less argumentative if he wants something for his mountainbike (which shares my scrapbooking space, believe it or not!!) We have 2 cats, who hate each other, but love us. No kids, so more time to scrap I suppose!
I've never really taken part in online scrapbooking communities, so not sure what to say - I've probably rambled too much already!!! Looking forward to getting into it though - ACOT seems like such a nice place!!
