That is right this month is America's birthday and nothing is better than a little patriotric tribute BUT you must make a layout using these colors in a NON July 4th holiday layout or projectfor this contest. You know I always like to mix things up a little.

***Please read the rules carefully.... your layout eligibility is determined by adherence to the rules!***
- You may enter one layout or project for this contest.
-Must be new entries
-DATES: July 1st through July 31--Winners will be announced August 5th
-You are not eligilble to win if you were the previous month's winner.
-Winners: Winners will be chosen from eligible entries, by the CT Members AND 10 random board members.
-This is not like the challenges, where the winners are drawn
randomly, this will be based on originality, craftsmanship and design.



If there are 30 entries then all of the below prizes will be awarded.
Overall Winner will receive a 25.00 GC to the ACOT store.
Paper runner up will receive a 10.00 GC to the ACOT store
Digital runner up will receive a digital designer prize pack or gc to the designers store.

If there are > or = 20 entries then two prizes will be awarded. The overall and the runner-up. The prize depends on whether the runner up is a paper of digital entry.

If there are > or = 10 entries there will be one winner and that will be the overall layout voted on.

great challenge...but hmmmm I used up my last red white and blue pattern paper last month on my summer layout....

This couldn't be a better contest! My daughter's high school colors are Red, White & Blue! Off to find print off pics and dig through paper. WOOHOO!!!! If I don't manage to get this completed than I need to quit scrapping, cause this is great motivation!

I saw this posted this morning and all day long at work I have been thinking about it, knowing exactly what photos I wanted to use!! I just posted mine in the Gallery but will post here too. I couldn't wait to get home and do it, but then dh decided he wanted to go to the movies TONIGHT so we did! We saw Grown Ups which was REALLY funny....worth a $40 night with tickets and popcorn!! Sheesh!! Anyway, didn't get home till after 10 and have been working on this ever since!!

Did we get clarification on the Patriotic part? It doesn't say it CAN'T be Patriotic in the main post here (just can't be 4th of July related), but when I added it to the challenge folder, it says NO PATRIOTIC. I'm confused! And can someone tell me if this layout is Patriotic? It wasn't in July even!! Was a Civil War reenactment.
I guess it probably is, huh?

hmmmmmmmm I am not a fan of saying no patriotic....I did that in the rules trying to make sure it was not about the holiday but I will go rephrase it!


It CAN be patriotic....it CANNOT be about July 4th. How is that?
