I'm not really sure. We didn't really have a definite popular crowd- there were a few mean girls but nobody liked them anyway. We were all friends, small school :)

Oh, heck no! But I was respected, and that I'm more proud of than if I had been popular. People knew where I stood.

Re: Question of the day 6/15
The first two years I lived in NZ and was very popular because of my accent.

Last two I was here in the states and I was so unpopular that the freshman teased me and called me names when I was a senior. :?

Me too! I was the class brain/valedictorian, band geek, pretty squeaky clean & only child who lived out in the boonies! Granted our class only had around 100 but not everyone was out in the country, lol.

2 funny things: In the top 6 of our class were 2 Katrinas, a Katherine and Kathryn, and a Karen!! (somehow a Jeff snuck in there, lol)

Quite a few from our class went to the same college, and there were a handful of us in the same dorm (which held about 800 total). One of the guys who pretty much totally ignored me in high school (which was most of the guys, lol) started talking to me in college! And acted like it was perfectly normal, like "Hi, how are you?" and I was thinking, you haven't cared for the past 4 or more years, why do you care now?! :)

I got along with almost everybody, but I don't know that I'd have been considered "popular" - on the flip side, I wasn't unpopular either, just kind of in the middle I guess.

I had a good number of friends, but people who were considered smart were not considered popular, and I was the valedictorian.

I'd say yes. I was involved in lots of activities and sports. But my whole high school had under 300 people, so basically we all had to be friends because there was no one else to be friends with!

I was the nerdy valedictorian with only a few friends. I moved around a lot, so studying was about all I did.

Not a bit. Band nerd/Honor Student. The crowd I hung out with memorized every line from every Monty Python show and movie and the guys all wanted to be Spock.
