This is the one that I am least happy with at the moment. I loved it until I posted it. I've actually removed the title since I took the picture. I still think it looks a million percent better in person, but whatever.

OMG I LOVE THIS!!! This is amazing! I so want a page of mine to look like this but I can't seem to capture it. I am going to save yours and see if I can manage something similar!!

I know just how you feel...gallery love is practically nonexistent these day. My last four layouts have one comment each.

Really, Laura???? Only onE comment????? I guess I shouldn't feel so bad abut my last one that has only 4 comments!

Hello laides! I went to visit my daughter today and just now getting around to check back on this thread. Let me say I think all of your LO's are great. We all have our own scrappy style and that's what makes this hobby to interesting and fun, so keep up the good work!!

You know, I could be wrong, but I think the slowdown in Gallery love somewhat corresponds to when the daily layout sharing threads stopped! I have been thinking I really miss them and would really love it if someone could start them back up - I"m not online in the mornings, but I suppose could start them at night & then people could post all the next day; or if someone else is available & willing to start them that would be great!! I miss the more frequent inspiration and I really think things get more love since we see them more that way.

Having the crop at the end of the month also caused a lot of crop and end-of-month things to get overlooked (not complaining, I loved the crop, lol!!). Here is my tag I'm really proud of and it doesn't have any love yet... it was for the crop challenge to make a tag w/paper piecing. It's digi and I started with one punched heart shape, then just played around w/different things in GIMP, and was really excited at everything I figured out I could do!

Personally, I don't think it is fair to measure the quality of work by the amount of love left on it. My gallery is filled with LOs with only 1 or 2 comments. . . sometimes things get fallen through the cracks.


That being said, this is my least fave - Nothing exciting going on here.

I'm not happy with how this one turned out. I stopped work on it two or three times and kept trying to go back and fix it but ended up just moving on.

I know that the reason a bunch of mine don't have much love is because they just aren't staying on the front page long enough.

that said, these are two that i thought were great, but just didn't get any loving at all.

Board is slow, so I thought I would give us something to do. Do you have a LO that you are really disappointed in, maybe not your best work? Maybe it's a LO that you thought was ok, but it didn't get any love or maybe just 1 love. So you begin to thinking, hum.... Well here is my LO failure. Pic I took of wild turkey at our house.

After looking at all y'all's work, I have come to realize something. Imagine looking at your highschool yearbook. Look how cool everyone looks--the year the book was made. Now, look at it 25 years later. OMG, what were we thinking? The hair styles, clothes even the picture, it self is all out of style. Well, I think that there are trends in SBing, too. Just since I started there has been a change in the style of it. What we do today, may not stand up to the criticism of 20 years down the road. Oh well, moving on.......But I have at least two in the gallery that I can not stand!

Man, I had alot of ugly layouts in my gallery to chose from, but this was a disappointment for me...I loved the paper and didn't want to cover over it, but didn't know what to do with it! As you can tell!
