My question is my normal lovely question...

you ready for it?

are you sure?

What color are you undies your wearing right now? :-D
LOL... I was hoping you would stop by and ask that! I was expecting you! They are blue and white striped with pink elastic.

Expecting lil old me? :-D I was trying to upload to the ADSR gallery to finish up the race. Gotta get some food soon and take the kid to the hospital to get his stitches out. My husband is killing me today... I've been waiting for him to pick up the mail for 12 days from the mailbox. (my important thing is waiting for the past 12 days!) And he said we would meet up for lunch... He finally answers me after an hour only to say he's already sitting eating. Thanks jerk! Okay off my soap box. Are you happy your not married any more? What do you love the most about not being married? What do you love the most about your DB?

Thank you. I'm not perfect, but I do have a lot of fun with them. And considering at least 2 have turned out well, and the third is well on her way, something must be going right!
I think you must be doing a lot of things right! I was a single mom, too, but I only have one child. I'm not sure I could have done it with more children.

Re: Anyone want to help?
EarthMom wrote:When I was married, i still had to coordinate everything like he was a kid. He never seemed to partner with me in the whole thing.... and I got tired of being his mom. I figured if I was going to be a single mom, I would be one with only 6 kids, not 7. It's nice to do things my way, and know their successes are the result of my influence. It's pretty awesome to watch your kids succeed!

DB is pretty cool. He is retired from the Air Force after 21 years, career single man, so he has his quirks too. You can tell he is used to doing things his way and on his schedule, which amuses me more than anything. I must have gotten more tolerant as I get older. But he truly understands me somehow, and seems to understand how I think. Which considering I have NO idea how I think, that's pretty awesome. He also supports my scrapbooking. He has been a life long airplane model builder, so understands how therapeutic it is to have a hobby. He even willingly follows me around scrapbook stores!

And for someone who never had kids, never wanted kids, he is awesome with mine. He also bought me a beautiful sapphire ring (my birthstone).... 6 weeks after we started going out. TOTALLY took me by surprise!

Well mine seems to have forgotten about his family with all the work stuff. His exercises are done and I'm ready for him to be back to normal. Apparently not happening. It seems like this unit makes him the craziest yet. He's not the organized type, which makes me bonkers. He's the I will get it all done, just not like you think and when you think type. He supports my scrapping though. I appreciate the fact he doesn't call me a weirdo for it. Sometimes its easier when he just does his work thing and I take care of the rest. He forgot that he had a lunch date with his family! I feel bad for the kids, they get excited to spend time with daddy. :(
