Luckily, I do digital, so if I need to throw the whole thing away, it didn't cost me money - the delete buttons is awesome. But even in digital, I think of a cool thing to do, and it just doesn't turn out the way I wanted it. Hope you can salvage it.

Been there and done that. It seems like the more work I put into something the less pleased I am with it. Maybe I just get tired of working on it, I don't know. The LO's I've been the least happy with are the LO's that other's really seem to like. Hum, maybe I need to rethink some things.

when that happens, I walk away for a while, a day, an hour, sometimes a week. so, in the end, I like it somewhat...

Yup! I'm there now with Z's birthday invitations. What started out as a really cool idea and tons of time invested, didn't turn out like I thought. :( Hope you use what you HAVE have created!

I read a tip years ago that has served me well. It was to check your "balance" on the layout. Sometimes moving just one or two small items to the opposite is darn near miraculous. But, according to whatever "expert" wrote that article, BALANCE on the layout is the key. Don't know if that little tip will help anyone else, but it sure has helped me!

WOW... at least I'm in good company... LOL! We ended up going out of town this weekend so I was able to take a break from it. Since we're snowed in today, I'll probably take a crack at it again. Thanks for all the advice ladies!
