uh. I used to be a total optimist, but now I think I'm more pessimistic. But most people call me realistic. hmmm?

An Optimist.
Definitely optimistic!! The only time in my life I can ever recall being pessimistic was when I was going through a divorce - man, that was a long time ago! Not so much pessimistic as I was totally depressed. that out of the way - life has been uphill, with a few struggles along the way that are there to be jumped over and grow/learn from.

Just the opposite... I'm a pessimist married to an optimist. I'm always thinking of the worst case scenario and my hubby never thinks anything bad will happen. He says I worry way too much about things out of my control.
When I read this, that's me and my dh. I think I'm getting better, too, thanks to him.

I had a weird experience today that just kind of confirmed that we are all watched over by guardian angels. I figure if my angel has things under control, why should I be rude and worry about it?
Me too. Realistic Optimist raised by pessimists and married to one. But why be gloom and doom when you know the One in charge has everything under control even when we don't understand it?

In my youth I was a big pessimist. Now I find myself always taking the optimistic view because my husband is the world's worst pessimist, and I need to balance that out.
Our favorite Winnie-the-Pooh character is Eeyore. Definite similarities there! LOL!
