Re: Question of the day 11/18
I go in spurts, but it does make me feel better if I do regularly.

I have been, and I prefer massage to chiropractic. I'd rather be beat up with a deep tissue massage than cracked any day!

Went once - he almost killed me. Never again!!
I wonder, sometimes, if we ever give God a headache.

Yes, and I swear by mine. Have been through a number of chiropractors - now that I have found Dr. Joe - gosh, hope he never retires!!! THere are lots of methods -so if you don't like the first find another.
The first ones I used fold you up like a pretzel and made me feel like I was going to fall off the table/bench. It provided short lived fix only.

Next one used a silver, metal tool that thunks your back in spots...he called it "the thumper" for the kids. Again, it would help but never resolved anything long term.

Now I use Dr. Joe Teff in Middleton, WI and I wish he would teach his technique to other drs. across the country so I could whole heartedly refer people. Dr. Joe is an inventor and entreupreuner and has created his own tool - which I gather helps him find the problem areas by increased levels of heat transmission.

The adjustments are gentle compared to previous docs, and I never feel like I am going to fall off. Best part is he has prevented me from having a couple of surgeries. One time I was so bad he even had me come back the same day for another adjustment and laser treatment - and let's say the price was very good for the laser treatment, which I doubt my insurance would have covered.

Now I only visit him when necessary - he fixes the problem, reminds me of the exercises, and I am done until I over do it again. The previous doc would have me coming in 2-3 weekly - and I am sure for the rest of my life had I followed the "set up appointment" instructions.

Life is about second chances. There would be no hope if God didn't give us another.

I have gone on rare occasions...i do not agree with the ones that insist you need to come back every 1-2 weeks...I had a shoulder/arm thing for awhile ...everyone kept teling me I ight need surgery.... I went to the Chiro 2 maybe 3 times and GONE! Came back like 5 years later went again...GONE! It scares me but I think for certain things it can really help.
