Just out is a shooting has occurred at Fort Hood today. One or two shooters still on the loose. Fort Hood & Killeen schools are on lockdown. Please keep Firemanswife7 in your thoughts and prayers. I also have a sorority sister works for Killeen ISD. There are 7 dead and 12 injured.

They are now saying 12 dead and 31 wounded. All are us soldiers. One gun men dead and two apprehended. So Sad.

I was very concerned because my sister in law's niece is a major in the army and was visiting Fort Hood this week. I am her friend on FB and noone could get in touch with her for the first half hour. They finally heard from her - but only texts - they were still on lockdown.
One of her comments yesterday was that she couldn't find anything nice to say about Fort Hood. Imagine how she feels about it now......

My prayers go out to them. Sadly, I don't think people realize how common it is that shootings break out on military bases/posts. Saw two shootings in the 3 years I spent at our last base. 4 dead. I'm sorry for those families that are left behind, my prayers go out to them and all the injured and their families.
