What kind...
What kind of adhesive do you use to cover a paper or chipboard shape? Or cover small areas, designs, etc? There is such a confusing choice of adhesives.

Re: What kind...
I love using Zip Dry for the chipboard shapes.
Quick Grip for metal things.
Tape Runner for paper.
Xyron sticker thing works good for paper letters.

Re: What kind...
It depends on what I want the end result to be. But usually if I'm covering chipboard shapes/letters, I want all over adhesive-ness, so I use my Xyron

For tiny spots, I use either my mini-tape runner or my precision point adhesive (glue). OR my Xyron.

Re: What kind...
I use the green Tombow liquid glue or Mod Podge. Or even tacky glue works, too!

Re: What kind...
Depending on what I am using it for, if it is an altered item, I use glue stick and then Modge Podge. If it is somthing scrappy a Zip glue pen.

I love variety, so I have several choices. Stick glue for light papers, liquid glue for chipboard, double stick photo tape, and vellum tape. I just find it easier to have a chioce.:bluelol:

Re: What kind...
Depending on how thick the chipboard is - I may either use a glue stick or my tape runner. You might want to use the Xyron sticker maker to put adhesive on your paper strips (presuming you are using paper to cover your chipboard), then cover the chipboard. Turn the chipboard over, and then use an exacto knife to cut away the excess paper around the chipboard shape.

I use a lot of those Avery permanent glue sticks--they're extremely CHEAP--3 in a package for $1 at the Dollar Tree.

Re: What kind...
I use my xyrons (have the 150, the 250, the 510, & the 900) for anything up to 9". For larger than 9" I use tape runner or double stick tape. I find glue sticks don't stick well for me. For embellies, glue dots. I also have photo squares on hand as well as other adhesives including a little glue "pen" for really the really skinny parts of diecuts.

Re: What kind...
zip dry is the best for putting on the large pieces of paper. And it dries flat. and colorless. It's often on sale for $5. So it's a good deal too.
