Tools of the trade (Cardstock)
I primarily have only used Bazzill textured cardstock. Archivers would give coupons for their CS and it just never was the same to me....but I have been drooling over the Coordinations cardstock.

Does it matter what CS you use and if so what is your brand of choice?

Re: Tools of the trade (Cardstock)
I have used DCWV cardstock primarily since I always found it on sale at Joann's or had a coupon at Michael's. But I never really liked the white core, so now I get Bazzill only on sale. (In fact, I rarely buy anything unless on sale.)

Is it really bad I don't usually use much cardstock! I always seem to use lightly textured papers for my background papers instead of plain colored cardstock.

I love Bazzill but the American Crafts is a VERY close second! I also use DCWV once in a while when I need a white core. I bet the Coordinations would be great too but I am totally stocked up in CS from buying a huge AC assortment last Xmas!

What determines what kind of cardstock I buy is what's on sale and appeals to me.:-D

Re: Tools of the trade (Cardstock)
DCWV - I like the texture of it better than Bazzil. But I like Bazzil also. Honestly, I'm not that picky when it comes to cardstock. Often, I just use the stuff that goes 50% off at Hobby Lobby. I don't think anyone notices the difference.

Re: Tools of the trade (Cardstock)
I don't really have a favorite - I have all kinds of cardstock, but I think I use CTMH cardstock most often. I buy from them all the time and their paper packs come with coordinating cardstock. I also like that it's buffered so I can use it as a barrier between questionable embellishments and my pictures. Everyone has different hues and different textures/thicknesses so I really just pick what goes best with the pp I'm using!

I love Bazzill but I will use Archivers cardstock if it is the right color.

for a long time there was nothing to equal the quality and lovely texture of Bazzill. I do like DCWAV white core cardstock too and now that I've been introduced the Core'dinations, it's like the best of both worlds!

Mostly Bazzill and some Core'dinations for me. I also like Prism cardstock but can't find it too often and I haven't tried AC cardstock yet either.

I was a total bazzil girl and then I fell in love with coredinations.I still do love my bling but I like coredinations so much I am on the hunt for a new paper organizer just for it to live!

I am a Bazzill user, too! I thought the AC looked good, too, but I wish you could buy it separately instead of in packages.
I also want a pack of the Basic Grey Designer cardstock, but I think it's not quite like regular cardstock. Still cute, though!

Re: Tools of the trade (Cardstock)
I have a stash of all different kinds of CS. It just depends on what I an doing or want to do, for me to decide on what stock to use. I like the core colored cardstocks when dry embossing. If I am cutting something with the Cricut, I prefer light weight CS. Textured CS and the Cricut don't do that well together, IMO.
