I am determined to get the teacher gifts ready tonight, so it is not totally last minute tomorrow night. DS took an awesome photo of a butterfly drinking nectar from a flower when we went to a greenhouse with an exotic butterfly exhibit. We framed a 5x7 and I want to make a card that goes along with. The front will say "Encourage a child in all they do, and give them wings to fly!" It gives me a reason to use the new Qk die I bought. DS has to write the note inside the card and let his teacher know how/where he took the photo - so she knows he actually took it.
I also need to make a couple of other teacher thank you cards to hold gift cards. Most of you are probably well done with this project if you have kids in school!
So what might you be creating tonight?
I will be creating a dent in my couch. I'm just too tired to do anything.

I'm hoping to scrap if dh and his brother ever get outta my space & watch the hockey game.
I put together a double page LO of Father's day from last year using the current sketch from 52 Sketches...52 Weeks. I've been working on the embellishments today and posting on here. I'm currently adding a huge number of french knots. I have about 30 more to go out of close to 130. Then I'll use an back stitch to add hearts, then buttons and bows. Yes, I'm nuts but I so love to combine my love of embroidery with scrapping.
I'm trying some shopping therapy. Next I may try some painting therapy. Sorry, but the pictures I saw in court yesterday just really have me tramatuzied!!!!:( I probably do need to go have a good cry and let it all out, but that always gives me a nasty headache and stuffed up nose afterwards.

I am actually scrapping tonight. I am on a kick today! I am working on a LO and maybe some more cards. Feels so weird. I get into moods where I do a lot then take a break.

Not making anything tonight. I'm hoping to squeeze in a few projects tomorrow.
I posted the teacher cards in the gallery, with tips and ideas on my blog.
I also managed a birthday card, cards for our kids celebrating their last day of school, and some grad cards. Still have to make that Fathers day card for the challenge.

Ooh, this sounds lovely. I would really like to see this when you get finished. I also love embroidery. Do you do any silk embroidery?killarney_rose wrote:I put together a double page LO of Father's day from last year using the current sketch from 52 Sketches...52 Weeks. I am still working on a LO for my dh as a baby. Stuck with no mojo at all.

By the time I thought about, it was already the last day of school. Lately I'm a slacker and I loved my son's third grade teacher. I feel so bad!
