Have you ever bought something, worn it( maybe with tags on) and then returned it?
I did this once in high school at urging of all my friends and was so scared someone was going to know I never ever did it again--- to be young and stupid. I do have an acquaintance at work that does this all the time.
Nope but I knew a woman who did this for big functions time after time...and she could afford to keep the dresses too!

I've never done it, but had a roommate in college who did it all the time!
I have thought about it, but felt too guilty just thinking about it to actually do it. My sister says that I am a natural criminal, because I am always thinking about doing criminal stuff. For instance, "It would be so easy to xyz. The powers in charge should do abc to prevent it."

Nope. I probably should have a couple times since I only wore it once anyway.
No but I have worn something and it was so uncomfortable that I took it back with the tags unattached and told them I hated it and they let me return it!
I've also cut the tags off from a pair of shoes from Target for Maya and they wouldn't stay on so I put the tags back on and returned them (but she only had them on for about 10 minutes and she doesn't walk yet so they weren't really used.

I've never done it, but have seen people prosecuted for it. It's called retail fraud.

Sort of! I bought new running shoes and ran about 1 mile on my treadmill to decide if they would work for me, and they just didn't. I'd left the tag on and tucked it under the laces for exactly that reason, then I returned them.
I have never done that. I was always sure that they would find out. I am a big chicken
No, but I have bought things, and then never wore them and then ended selling them at a garage sale for much less!

Once (a long time ago) I bought a dress for a banquet and when I got home I realized it had some flaws. I had no time to return it or find something else to wear, so I wore it to the banquet (with tags tucked inside) and returned it the next day. The lady at the store gave me a really hard time about returning it, but I told her it wasn't my fault they were selling inferior material. She gave me store credit.
I have no idea how people wear stuff and return them as if they hadn't been worn, this woman knew my dress had been worn and I didn't tell her that.

Bought a pair of shoes, brought them home, but after trying them again; discovered that they were not really meant for me and returned them. That's all.
