 outside of your bedroom window, what would it be?

For me, it would be a lighthouse.  I've been fascinated with them since I was a child.  I've taken pictures of them and even climbed the St. Augustine light (and I have a height problem). 

And you? 

Jules - we were just visiting St. Augustine last month; saw the lighthouse but we didn't climb it - don't like heights but now I know someone who did go all the way up there.

As for the question, I would like a lake or the ocean but close enough that I would hear the waves.

 trees, and water.  Probably Blackwater River in Santa Rosa Co in Florida.  It is really beautiful there.  I told my dh that I want to live there someday where I can sit and look out at the water.
