Re: One vs Double Sided Paper?
I like double sided paper andususally buy double the amount. But it is always more expensive than single paper and sometimes it is more than double. I guess for me, it just depends on how much I really like the paper.

Yes, I do too. Especially if I like the pattern on the other side as much as the one on the front!

I like double sided as long as I like the pattern on the other side. It's great when I use my punches because I can nest them with the different patterns, or sometimes a scrap will come in handy as a coordinating piece for layering.

I love double sided pp, but at the same time I hate to use it, if I only have one piece and I love the other side! Therefore, I buy a couple sheets!

Depends on what is on sale at the time I am buying!!
I will have to say this at least for double sided--it takes the guess work out of matching!!

I rarely use a sheet of PP as my background anymore and if I do use one that's double sided, I make sure I don't really care for the second side before I do it.  I much prefer heavy-weight paper, so double-sided is definitely the way to go for me!

I'm totally into double sided.  I like coordinating paper and prefer to go with double sided.  I always at least buy two pieces each time.

I'm totally with you on this! I hate double sided paper because I feel like it wastes the other side. I try to get double sided ones that I won't use for the main backgound/paper, ones that I will use as scraps so I can use both sides...but of course you always have a few that one side won't work that way.... :?

I am a double sider, all the way.  Why, because it it usually better paperweight, and if you have a coordinating cardstock you can use both side on the same layout.

Thought you might like to see a LO I did quite a while ago but it is an example of cutting a square in the middle and then folding back the paper to reveal the photo which I mounted on the reverse side. Double sided papers definitely give you more options.

I buy it for one side. But a lot of paper I like make it double sided. While I hate wasting the other side, I only bought it for the one side.

I prefer double-sided with a matching solid on the back, that takes the guess work out of matching cardstock with the pattern.

Hmmmm I think that as long as you like the paper then who cares if there is anything on the back....BUT if you do like the back then it's like a BONUS!!!  Especially since it coordinates so well!  I just got a bunch of MME....and I'm loving all the options!!

Re: One vs Double Sided Paper?
I'll buy whatever paper I like, one or two sided.  If I like both sides I usually buy 4...

I have a love hate relationship for it.  I'd rather pay a little more and have two sheets of paper if I like both patterns, then 'waste' one side.  I do cut out the middles too a lot, but the scraps are not as big as I would like usually.  However, it is nice to have the options.

I would much rather buy the paper seperate though, even if I pay a little more.  Usally double sided usually is more expensive, you can usally buy two single sided papers for just a little more.

Oh, and the thick/thinness doesn't bother me.  Unless I need to do some special technique on it and want something thicker like cardstock, I prefer thinner because it takes up less space in the album and is lighter (all that tick paper adds up).  The more pages I can fit in an album the better!
