 I haven't entered lately because the topics haven't been anything I was interested in. I have got to vote on a few, though, and I thought that was really fun! Sometimes I forget about them, too for some reason. They are fun and I would definitely enter if it was something I had photos for.  I really hope they stick around!

 I love the contest too, but I think I get so overwhelmed with all the challenges and stuff, that I forget about the contest, b/c they are not what pops in my mind when I think of the contest. I think the challenges are the contest.. does that make sense?? I guess there are so many choices we have here, that many are getting looked over.

So maybe Include them with the Challenges. Like if you complete challenge #3 with this criteria you can be put in the running for a prize. So basically #3 this month in the CT Challenges would be the Pets with the rules you give. Instead of it just being a motivational challenge to try to get us to attempt it for our own sake.. to try for that extra push of points or prizes. Cause everyone loves that!

I love the contests and the polls to see what we like.  Sometimes I have a hard time using stuff I know the name of though, because I take it out of the package and file it away in my stuff.  For the contests you have to name everything pretty specifically right, so that's a little harder.  But totally worth the chance at a prize.

 LOL I thought I posted a reply, but can't find it now, so here goes again.  I'm new to the board, just joined in January and I plan on doing the pet LO contest.  In fact I uploaded my pics tonight and will pick them up at Wallgreens tomorrow.  I've got a LO in mind with all of the paper and colors I want to use.  You can plan on having my entry.  Pets are one of my favorite subjects.

 Ok, I know this is weird, but since they're mid-month to mid-month I may check them out when they're initially posted, but then I usually forget about them.  I might participate if they ran for a calendar month and were posted at the same time as the Challenges; I write those all down at once & keep the list at my scrap table.  A whole room away, lol, and I know it's silly, but that's the main thing for me.  Plus, you know, not thinking I'd win anyway.

 Wow, For some reason I missed this. Do You announce the contests in the newsletters? I think I will have to enter the pets one this month, if I would have know, I would have been participating

 The DT is excluded from the contests and I feel like the votes are
extremely fair. It's done anonymously so it's not like we see everyone
voting for a page so then we jump on the bandwagon.

I apologize if you thought I meant to imply that the creative team was intentionally being unfair. That wasn't my intent at all, not even a little bit.

 I just really want to encourage all of you to enter. I LOVE going in there and seeing what different people are doing. I think it helps us grow as scrappers to see other's work and it helps us grow as a community on here to participate and support the site. And seriously- a GIFT CARD to your favorite scrap site. That's an AWESOME prize. You get to choose what you want!   I miss entering, even though I never won one! LOL

 I love that you do contests every month, but truth be told, I tend to forget about them sonce they don't start on the first of each month. I forget to look for them. The first of the month, I am stalking the board waiting for the monthly challenges. Also, the way my scrappy stuff is stored and put away, I usually don't know who make what brad, or button or embellishment and paper. So knowing that every item needs to be listed with names, unless I buy the stuff just for that contest,  I don't enter.

This would also be another problem that I have...I try to keep things in their packages, but that doesn't always work...especially for things like brads, bling, flowers, etc.  I can usually know my paper, but that is probably about all....

 I like the contests, and I am going to work on my layout today before the crop starts!  I don't get as many layouts done as are in my mind... because I am disabled and on pain meds 24/7 - so I kind of zone out sometimes and then it's 2 days later.  I hope you understand what I'm saying here.  Please, please continue the contests... I LOVE THEM!

 Hey ladies! THANKS for all the great input!!!

The reason I start the contest mid month is because I did not want it to get lost in all the challenges. That is totally not set in stone, and if you think you would particpate more if it was beginning to end, we can always tweak that!

As for the listing of products, when I took over the contests, I basically just copied and pasted the previous rules, I am not sure why the listing is pertinent to you winning, but I have asked the other CT members, so maybe we can come up with something.

And again, HUGE THANKS for all the input!!!!

 I do like them.   However, I have not participated in them.  I always plan to and then wimp out or run out of time.  My main reason for not participating is due to time constraints, and  you always mandate that we need to have a complete list of items and I am not always sure where all my supplies come from.

 One other thing I wanted to share is the contest is not only voted on by the CT members but also 10 random board members. I try very hard to make sure that different people are asked and I include new members also. So, it is totally not a popularity contest and the range of styles voted on is huge.
