  how did you meet your husband?

We met while I was visiting a friend in Nebraska. 
After my mom passed away I became good friends with the intern pastor at the church I went to in Ohio (near Gahanna for any Ohio folks).  When she got ordained she was assigned to dh's church in Nebraska.  I spent a week visiting her.  Before I came out, several members decided that there were some single guys I needed to meet.  They made their plans (without telling the guys) and dh was the only one at church that day.  We talked some then, and again after the Lenten worship that Wednesday and on Friday he called and asked me out.  His exact words were "I'm kind of getting my arm twisted here, you want to go to the movies?"  We went and saw Titanic and chatted for a long while after.  I left for Ohio the next day.  We talked on the phone and thru letters and then I moved here in July 1998.  We got married in December of 1999.

I really love the Heidi Swapp distresser thing - that almost circle thingy.
I'd be lost without my poker tool from the MM kit

Usually sitting.  And most of the time on the floor.

Favorite Toby Keith song? (and if this matches mine...) - It's a toss up.  Should've been a cowboy got me hooked.  Then there's You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This and How do You Like Me Now?    I love Big Blue Note and As Good as I once Was for the humor part.   There's too many to pick!!!  I saw him in concert about 10 years ago = was in the 2nd row and could see his blue blue eyes!!

It's not a huge secret But noone has called me it other than my grandmother and telemarketers since I was about 3.

My 'real' first name is Jennifer.  I grew up in a small town and both of the neighbors had Jennifer's too.  How's that for odd?

There's something about small towns.  The first school my mom went to was one of those 1-room type.  There were 8 kids and THREE of them were named Deborah!  (including my mom) 

Yep - and both of them were in my class of less than 15.  I graduated with 100 kids and there were 15 Jennifers....

And I vowed not to give my kids 'popular' names - and I did anyway!  Though we don't know many other Emilys or Kaitlyns

I like non messy ones - so jelly beans are usually my go to treat.  I love the Starburst ones and stock up at Easter time!

I've always liked rabbits.  We used to raise them for 4-H when I was growing up and hope to get the girls involved when they get old enough.

I got the dishwasher unloaded and reloaded.  Got dinner started.  Put away some clean clothes. 

My dad is practicing piano with Emily and my stepmother is playing cards with Kaitlyn.
