 It is rainy, rainy, rainy here today--and  we are actually going to get our first touch of "winter" this week--- I know it is nothing like what most of you are going to be dealing with but our highs are not going to get out of the upper 50's to low 60's for the next WEEK!!!!!!!! that is winter weather for us.  Aside from that my dryer is now fixed-- yeah!!!!!!!!! I have the next 3 days off of work so I know what I am going to be doing!  I had planned on hanging all of my clothes out-- but the rain put a damper on that idea.
I am working again today as it is our busy season-- yesterday we had 115% of our capacity -- we usually hold around 205 patients but we are actually pushing the 235 mark-- I don't think we have beds for more than 250 --and that is every bed, every stretcher, every chair!  It is going to be a long winter if this keeps up......but my pocket will like it---as long as they don't decide to eliminate my position...which is still a possibility I hear.

 I have a busy day today... and the rest of the week, too.
Today I have to take our kitty to the vet to be updated on her vaccines so she's ready to go to her new home this weekend. I'm sad about it, but there's nothing we can do. Our daughter developed allergies to cats too- hives, swelling, redness. I'm glad we found her a good home, though with a lady who loves cats, so that makes it better.
Oh, and we're supposed to have 2-5 inches of snow & blowing with a high of 13 degrees today! EW!

 Morning all,
I am just "down the street" so to speak from Spring Hill Fl. so ditto that weather report here!  The rain hasn't started yet but soon.  My plants could use a nice drink and it gives me a good excuse to stay in and scrap, right?

I have some DT work to finish up today and the last page of my "Birds of a Feather" class for the retreat.  I want to work on a photo Valentine for each of my kids (already did one for my honey) and want to plan these.

Our friends from St. Louis called last night and they arrive the day after I get back from the  all scrappy girls cruise.  Eeek.  We leave for Savannah the day after that for St. Pat's there.  Both are going to be tons of fun...guess I better buy some more underwear!

 It is a HAPPY Tuesday...the kids have school. We thought for sure that they would have another snow day. They haven't had a full week of school in a long time because of the weather. They probably won't have school the next couple of days because the wind chills are supposed to around -20 or so!!! ouch, that's COLD!!! I think I'll stay home for sure!!

 Enjoy your day off.  Our high is supposed to be 8, so anything above freezing sounds good to me.  Yesterday the physical, today the dentist, tomorrow a bone scan and bloodwork.  Fun week for me!

 I wish I could stay home again today but off to work in -24 weather.  It was -29 when I woke up and that is actual temp, not wind chill.  We are predicted to get to -2 today but I can't complain too much when I see what others are going through.  Will probably have to work a little later today to get caught up on work that wasn't done yesterday but it was great having an extra day off after a scrapbook retreat this weekend.

Happy Tuesday. I'm at home today with my son who has strep. He is feeling better today and is laid out on the sofa watching Cars so I am going to take advantage of today to get some things done! First is laundry and then I am going to scrap.  We are finally getting some cold weather, but no snow ! We have had rain for 7 straight days and then when we finally get cold enough for snow, the rain stops completely! Go figure!

 Good morning girls!  I am working nights again this week, so I don't go in till 12:30.  That means I can actually get a few things done around the house.  Today is out warmest day of the year, woo hoo!  A high of 41, then we are getting an artic blast move in and by Friday the high will be 18, but with the wind chills they say 6 degrees will be the high.  I hate the cold so other than work, I am trying to stay inside as much as possible and wait for spring!

 It is a Happy Tuesday for my family. My bil was in a car wreck last night. A drunk driver pulled out in front of him. the other driver , I am sorry to say past away. My bil is in a bad way, but doctors feel he will be fine. It will just take time. They may have to surgery today. My sister is trying to hold together. James is always the strong one in the family. So this is a new role for her.

 It's not too bad weather wise here...just a little chilly.  I'm headed off to help select pictures for a baby scrapbook for a friend...hopefully then I'm coming home to finish up the laundry before I head back to work tomororow!

 I am sorry to hear of your bil accident!!  GOSH since workin on the ambulance i am sorry but have a big fat 0 tolerance for anyone that CHOOSES to drink and drive!!  Glad he is goin to be ok!!!
We are in yet another michigan blizzard today and already have gotten 19 inches of snow since sunday and more coming, which i LOVE but were gettin an artic blast and it is only goin to be -2 degrees tomorrow!! YUKK!! i feel so bad for my horses and goats since they dont have heat! LOL i know they are equiped to handle the weather but i still feel bad.  I am off work today and busy creating new things.  YEAH YIPPEE!!

 We've got a beautiful snowfall coming down right now. (It's beautiful as long as I don't have to go out in it.)  The kids are all playing nicely for now, all 6 of them. They'll be asking for lunch soon, I'm sure. I could take a nap right now. I need to go through some scrappy mags for ideas, but I'm afraid to sit down and look at them because I know I'll fall asleep. Maybe I should go check my sugar....

 Like my other Florida friends mention we are getting cold weather this week. In Miami we will be waking up Thursday and Friday in the 40's. The problem here is that we are cold in the AM and hot in the PM, this is why we get so sick with the flu. The weather changes to much, we have to wear lots of layers of clothing so we can start taking them off as the day goes by.
