In my adoptive family - I was an only child until I was 18
Then my adoptive Dad remarried and I got a step-sister

In my biological mother's family I am 4th out of 5

In my biological Father's family I am 1st out of 5

 It depends on who you ask I´m the second of 3 by my father and first by my mother, and we are all three girls

 I'm 4th - 3 older brothers - 8, 10 and 12 years older, and 1 brother 18 months younger.  It's almost like two separate families, but we all have the same dad and mom.  DH is 3rd, 2 older sisters and 1 younger brother.

 I'm the oldest of 4.   My mom had a daughter 3 years before me that died at 4 days old.  My brother is 4 years younger, my sister 8 years younger and my little brother 11 years younger.  A pretty big gap between all of us.  My dh is the youngest of 2, my mom is the youngest of 2 and my dad was the second youngest of 7 boys.    Being the oldest, I'm pretty messed up at times!

My dad is the oldest of 2 boys, my mom was second youngest of 6 (2 boys, 4 girls), but would have been of 9 (3 boys died at birth or shortly after).  My grandma on my dad's side came from a huge family - 14 kids!

 I am the middle child of 3. 1 older brother and 1 younger brother. (only girl) Only  granddaughter on my Dad's side out of 20. On Mom's side out of 15 gandkids there are only 3 girls. Girls do not run in my family. I grew up a tomboy. Dh is middle child of 3, older half brother, younger sister. I have 2 boys.
