We have only one tree and it is decorated with all kinds of ornaments. These are ornaments that the kids made when they were little, gifts that I recieved and ornaments that I have bought myself. I really like primitive santas and snowmen. I also love anything with a special meaning. However, I love having a tree with different ornies on it.
I love everything about Christmas! I have one small tree as our house is small. I decorate with ornaments of all kinds, my grandmother's, handmade ones from nieces & nephews, trips we've taken (I always stop in a Christmas shop) and my favorites - woodland animals. I like to fill every open space on a tree with ornaments and lots of lights!
We decorate our tree w/ Snowmen and Old world santas. My DB was deployed to Germany one year and brought back a wooden Santa ornament from there. We have a litte 4ft tree, until we make our Living Room larger. We seem to be out growing the house!

My mother and I are very jumbled, and go *just a tad* overboard. We decorate anything and everything, but there's no real theme... it ends up looking intentional, but it really isn't.
The living room tree is filled with sentimental ornaments, my bedroom tree is filled with small wooden ornaments and Care Bears and Strawberry shortcake ornaments; we put away all the non-Christmas/winter Cherished Teddies, and fill every last Christmas storage box with any other non-Christmasy decor to make space for all the random stuff we seem to buy year after year but never ever get rid of (our suite storage, apartment storage, and closets are all filled with Christmas boxes and nothing but), hang stuffed stockings, wrap up all the wall hangings, fill random dishes with beads and picks, wrap garland around the tall bookcases, create a tree wall at the kitchen entrance, decorate standing lamps and the chandelier in the dining area... I think the only place we don't decorate is the bathroom... though I've considered it :P

Only one tree here...I guess I would call our style "rustic". We have santa's, snowmen, moose, reindeer and other woodland animals. Deep reds, greens and browns.

We have 3 trees....one large tree that is decorated entirely with boyds bears. A small tree for my penguins ornaments 9both the animal and the hockey team), and then elijanna has a pink tree just for her ornaments. I decorate mostly with boyds bears...even my nativity scene is boyds bears. We also really like snowmen and santas. Penguins are a must in this house all year around.

We love Christmas here also! We put up one tree and it has many different types of ornaments but now that the kids are grown I have traded my disney things for snowflakes. I still love disney so don't count it out. I love all the pretty lights all the colors are so wonderful. Since i have many styles of ornaments anything is good. I also have candy cane shutters and candy canes around but no ornament of a candy cane. That's kinda strange now that i think about it. I have Shelite dogs and love anything with them on it. I hope that can help someone who gets my name.
oh edit to say any Kasey Kahne ornament (he's a NACAR driver) would be out of this world!

We only put up 1 tree at Christmas time and it is a mixture of ornaments. I have ornaments that the kids have made through the years, the family ornaments, ornaments from France that my aunt sent me, etc. I love all the different colored lights so just about anything will go with my tree.

This being only my second Christmas with my own tree I don't have a set way yet. Last year was everything and anything. This year I want to do a red, white and blue theme (my DH won't let me do pink). So I think it's going to be a Patriotic Christmas in my house. I also love Scottish Terrier ornaments...or ornaments representing your state or where your from. It will also be our "First Christmas" this year!!

Who doesn't LOVE Christmas!! I can't wait to send my DH out to hang lights all over the house!!!
Inside we decorate with a variety of items, but the on item I collacet is Angels. My Grandmother started my collection before I was born and I have continued it ever since! I also tend to attempt to cat proof the lower half of my tree and since we have three indoor cats! Our first year together Midnight aka Mimi aka the Cat from Hell would jump at the Christmas Lights and loop them around her feet so she could drag them low enough to play with them... Tha cat is a NUT!!! LMAO!!!

Last year at our house we had 5 trees, the sophisticated tree as my son referred to it was in our living room. It was decorated with all ornaments that I had made before DH and I were married. It is a collection of mice by Green Apple, they were either ceramic or counted cross stitched ornaments. The tree had red and gold lights with poinsettias as fill ins.
Our second tree was in our basement den, it was decorated with ornaments that we have collected over our 17 years of marriage and also the ones made by my DS. This tree has multi-colored lights and just about every kind of ornament you can think of - Disney, Coca-Cola, Star Wars, Sponge Bob, the Grinch, firemen and fire trucks, rescue squads men and ambulances, all of the ornaments that I have received in the ornament exchange here at ACOT, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, and the ornaments of honor - Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. For those of you that are new to ACOT, my DS did not believe in Santa until he was 8 years old - the told everyone that Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer brought his presents, so our house is covered in Rudolph. I am also a BIG lover of snowmen!
On third tree was a Hallmark miniature tree, I had that set up in our kitchen on the sideboard. Over the years I had collected many of the Hallmark miniatures, but seemed to have either lost an interest or due to funds being used for different things haven't bought many of those in the last 2-3 years. Those ornaments are of all types, but I especially like the ones that are attached to the small jingle bells.
The 4th tree was set up in DH and my room. It was a tall alpine tree with just red lights. Very plain, but interesting. If I could have found some pink and green lights I would have decorated it to match our bedroom decor using flowers that we had used in a grapevine wreath that hangs on our wall. I have no idea how I will decorate it this year.
The last tree is my son's - he loves Virginia Tech and the Hokie bird. He has a tree dedicated to them. Any type of Hokie bird and VT ornament is on that tree.
As you can tell, we have a varied decor at our house and will graciously accept any type of ornament as I have a tree that will accept it.
Again, thanks to Scrapgram for making this Ornament Exchange happen. I have truly enjoyed being able to particiapte each year. And I can't wait to see what I will receive this year
