Does anyone remember a childhood game by the name of 7 up?
Not the school game, the one you use with a small sponge ball.  You threw it up 7 times to catch, then it was throw it up and let drop and catch 7 times, etc...I am trying to teach my daughter the game, but can only remember 6 out of the 7 actions you did.  You can play it also against a wall.  Help!!!

Re: Does anyone remember a childhood game by the name of 7 up?
The only 7up game I remember is Heads Up 7up and it was a classroom game where everybody had to put their heads down on the desk some would walk around and tap the head of one person and that person had to guess who did it.

Totally diff.  :)  sorry

 FOUND IT!

Seven-seys: Throw the ball against the wall 7 times and catch it.
Six-seys: Throw the ball against the ball, allow it to come back and bounce on the ground once, then catch it. (6 times)
Five-seys: Bounce the ball on the ground five times and catch it.
Four-seys: Throw the ball against the wall when it comes back, divert it with the palm of your hand, and without catching it, bounce it twice on the ground, then divert it with the palm to bounce off the wall, then catch it. (4 times)
Three-seys: Bounce the ball on the ground once then divert it with the palm of your hand against the wall and when it bounces back catch it. (3 times)
Two-seys: Throw the ball under one leg against the wall and when it bounces back, catch it. (2 times)
One-seys: Throw the ball against the wall, then spin around quickly, and catch it without letting it hit the ground. (once).

ETA - I copy/pasted this from Yahoo answers! :-D

Re: Does anyone remember a childhood game by the name of 7 up?
Found this on GOOGLE. Brings back memories.

1. Throw the ball against the wall and catch it 7x.
2. Throw the ball against the wall, allow it to bounce once, and catch it 7x.
3. Throw the ball against the wall, hit it back to the wall and catch it 7x.
4. Throw the ball against the wall, hit it back to the wall, allow it to bounce once, and catch it 7x.
5. Throw the ball against the wall, allow it to bounce once, dribble it once, and catch it 7x.
6. Throw the ball against the wall, hit it back to the wall, allow it to bounce once, dribble it once and catch it 7x.
7. Throw the ball against the wall, hit it back to the wall, allow it to bounce once, dribble it once, hit it back to the wall and catch it 7x.

Once you have completed each of these seven levels, do each level again with the following additions:

1. Clap once after throwing the ball.
2. Clap twice after throwing the ball.
3. Twirl in a circle after throwing the ball.
4. Do the seven levels using only your right hand.
5. Do the seven levels using only your left hand.
6. Do the seven levels throwing the ball under your right leg.
7. Do the seven levels throwing the ball under your left leg.

Now I'm going to have to find some photos of us as girls and do a page about it! ;) Thanks for the great memory today and have fun playing this weekend!
