 Does anyone have some ideas to post a picture of to share for an open house with make n takes?
I'm thinking a tag and a card but need some fresh ideas and cheap.

 My stampin' up lady bought these cheap dollar store planners that have a plastic cover with a cardboard picture that slips inside.  Anyway, she took the cardboard out, and we made our own covers.  They turned out really cute, and they couldn't have cost her more than 2 bucks a person! 

She also does this with cheap photo albums from the dollar store.  You just slip in your own design, and you have a really cute make and take!

I personally think tags are kinda pointless...  I know some people like them, but they always end up gathering dust!

 the one i thought was fun was to seal a long envelope

and stamp your images all over it on both sides

then cut a 2 inch strip off from one end of it...

then run the bigger portion of the envelope through a crimper from top to bottom,

then hand stamp a gift certificate to put inside

then the uncrimped piece will fit over the open end

and then i think around the bigger portion a piece of rafia was tied around it with a little circle tag attached with a small saying.

not sure if this sounds cute or not but it did look cute.  instead of stamping images all over the bigger portion you can also crimp it and just run an ink pad over the crimped edges for a striped look...it makes an easy fancy GC holder when you are in a pinch.

she also had us stamp images onto thin mulberry paper and then heat the outside of a candle a tich with a heat gun and stick the mulberry paper onto it and heat it a little extra so that it absorbed some wax and wouldn't catch on fire..then we tied some rafia around the candle..cute idea.
