I'm trying to finish a digi layout about my gdd and her cherry clothes from Sat., but my computer is telling me it can't do anything cuz my scratch disks are full. Is there a short, quick remedy for that? lol I hope!!

What's a "scratch" disk?

You are going to have to make more space by deleting something(s).Without knowing more about your computer set up (PC, Mac or Unix, physical disk drives, cd-rom or dvd drives, flash drives, floppy/zippy drives etc) I can't be more specific.Some general places to start are to look in the recycle bin (this is assuming pc though mac probably has something similar).  You can also free up space by deleting old emails - but be aware that with many email programs such as Outlook and Outlook Express you have to also do a "compress" and you may get an out of space message for that.You could also possibly copy some old layouts to a floppy or zippy disk or a flash drive or save to a cd or dvd and then delete those files from your hard disk.It might also be possible that you have too many files open in whatever photo editing software you are using.

Thank goodness I'd never heard of a scratch disk!!!  But now I educate myself and find out where mine is.

Thanks for the link Amy, and thanks Bea for asking the question!! I've had this happen a couple of times and didn't know what the heck they were talking about!Thanks to all the others for their input too!  I know after downloading and unzipping that MEGA Transitions kit and the QP kit, I went to practically no space on my hard drive!! Wow!!
