She is so thin because after paying for all her scrappy supplies there was no money left for food.
Oh no, they're turning into a fashion and gossip mag??? That cover screams shades of Seventeen
I don't like the cover at all! It doesn't even look like a scrapbooking magazine.
Oh good grief people...Don't rag the girl out so bad. I read her blog and she seems like a really nice person. I just wish I were that skinny and that beautiful.... And the inside does have some good stuff. I love CK mag and I have got it for years. Sometimes it is too over the top for me, but all in all I still like it. Of course I'm a mag/idea book addict.Louise
I saw it at Books a Million today, and went through it. I didn't really like it. There seems to be not a lot of layouts as before. I prefer Scrapbooks, Etc, anyway.
There was even a letter to the editor either last month's issue or this one, where the person asked why so many ads? Their response was that the more ads they have the more pages/layouts they can print....that seems a bit untrue, since all my issues are about the same number of pages....more ads = less layouts in my math.
I don't really mind the new cover, I just want the content of the magazine to remain focused on scrapbooking. Show me techniques, simple and fast pages along with those that are more elaborate. I want to see pages with multiple photos as well as single. That's not asking for a lot just some of the basics.
I don't want to be that thin. BTDT and it was too much effort. But the point is that it and she has nothing to do with scrapping at all, regardless of her being their choice of SOY. It screams home decor and looks more like Domino magazine, including the new title style which is a total rip of Domino's font and style.Apparently CK didn't get the memo about scrappers wanting more technique and substance in their magazines and less celebrity gossip and fluff.
