Has anyone ever made the pretzels with the hershey kiss on top? I heard about this and thought that it would be a good treat for Ben to take to school TOMORROW. Yeah, I just made them and it DID NOT turn out for me. I burned the kisses. So I heard that you can put the kiss on top of the pretzel, put it in the oven and then when they are done put an m&m on top. HELLLLPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need the exact instructions, not just some brief description. anyone? anyone? Bueller?
I make them every year.I set the oven at 200 degrees, cover a cookie sheet with foil...place the kiss on the pretzel and let it sit in the oven for two minutes. Pull it out, press down with the M&M and then transfer the foil to the bottom shelf in the the fridge to set up. Usually about 10 minutes.Good luck!
THANK YOU MIDGE!!!!!!!!!!! I hope that I can make it work, it is this or a run to Giant Eagle before preschool tomorrow. My to-do list is just getting longer and longer and I want to get this done. Oh, and dh tells me tonight that I have to submit something for his bake sale at work. UM, let me get right on that.
I just had these for the first time tonight and I can't wait to make some for my Christmas Eve party!!!
Oh, those sound yummy. I love salty-sweet stuff.Hope you get everything done in time. Yowza!
They turned out great!! I made about 3 dozen of them. Here is a pic that I lifted from a website (I didn't do ones with Hugs, but that would be delicious too!) **ETA: Midge, I think that your method of using the foil instead of the parchment paper was clutch. Thank you again. You saved the day
Instead of the m & m on top, I use a pecan. They are so so good! And I pretty much follow the same directions as Midge. My dh and I made divinity together tonight. It was our first time ever to attemp it and it actually turned out. We're pretty excited about it!

Marcy, I made little baggies with the pretzels in them for Marc to take to work. I honestly don't care. Hey, he wanted to volunteer me to do a bake sale, he will get what I make for him!!
sure ya have to post this idea when tommorow is the last day of school. Those are so cute. I would love to make em for dd's 1st grade class. Wonder if I can squeeze that in....LOL
That's what I would have done too! I think they'd sell faster than breads or anything. They are sooooo addicting too.
