Question: If you digitally ink your edges, how do you do it? I use the brush, but I always go off the edge of the paper and then it shows up like that when I move the inked paper over to my LO. Is there an easier way? Or do I just need to suck it up and practice? TIA!! 

I ink the layer, then that way it only shows on that part of the layer.  KWIM?  I move the object or paper to where ever I want it, and I ink only that layer (I use the brush too...)  So I guess if there's an easier way, hopefully someone could let us both know!  LOL

I can't figure out how to install some overlays I bought.  Heck, I can't figure out how to install anything.  Elise, I'm going to have to put a mask on you for your allergies and have you come in and show me how on my computer!

when i ink myself, i usually use a brush and ink on a seperate layer, then when ive got it how i want it, i will either a)load the selection of the layer i want the inking on and go back to the ink layer and select inverse and cut leaving the inking only over the shape, paper, etc. or b)attach the inked layer to the base layer with a clipping mask.  do those make any sense?  lolbut i do have the AC actions and they are much quicker and have several cool effects.  usually i just do it that way.on this layout, i inked the star myself tho--using an eliptical shaped brush, adding a motion blur, and then using a clipping mask

I just have an inked overlay that I use and I can change the colors to whatever I want.

like everything with digi, there's more than one way to do things.what i always do is create a separate layer for the inking and then "clip" it onto the paper layer and then link them together.  to create a clipping maks in PSCS2 select the inking layer in the layers palette making sure that it's immediately above the paper, then click Ctrl+Alt+G ~ in PSE click Ctrl+G.that way any "over inking" doesn't diplay and if i move things around the paper and inking layers stay together as they were.HTH too!
